On Easter Sunday, Christians celebrate the resurrection of the Lord, Jesus Christ. It is typically the most well-attended Sunday service of the year for Christian churches.

This, then, is how you should pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. g to Scripture, that Jesus came back to life, or was raised froMark 11:25
And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.
m the dead, three days after his death on the cross. As part of the Easter season, the death of Jesus Christ by crucifixion is commemorated on Good Friday, always the Friday just before Easter.
Through his death, burial, and resurrection, Jesus paid the penalty for sin, thus purchasing for all who believe in him, eternal life in Christ Jesus.
Have you ever had someone not give you forgiveness for something you did against them? Some people can hold a bitter grudge against us and despite our offering apology and seeking forgiveness offer us only coldness. For those who have experienced this (and many have), this is a painful, painful

“Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.” (NKJV)
Special eggs an invaluable tool to teach children about the true meaning of Jesus’ death and resurrection
“Choose me! Choose me!” children shouted when the time came to select 12 boys and girls to explain how the tiny items hidden inside brightly colored plastic eggs were all part of the Easter story.
There was lots of anticipation about the contents of the eggs among the 150 parents and children gathered around cafeteria tables in what had once been Good Samaritan Hospital – but now was City on a Hill, a community center on Milwaukee’s near west side.
You could hear rattling all around the room as children shook their eggs, trying to figure out what was inside each one.
Was it a donkey, a cross, a nail, a crown of thorns, the stone rolled away from Jesus’ tomb?
Parents loved hearing their children tell the Easter story. And at the end of the program, each family received their own carton of Resurrection Eggs®, a teaching tool from FamilyLife.com, so they could tell the Easter story again at home.
