Renee Jackson: “Yes, especially in the Black community. There are events going on such as a spiritual revival and sometimes I had wanted to know about it and I find out after the fact.”
PASTOR Rolen Womack: Yes. Because in the first place major news organizations cut--in tough economic times--its local news. We need to know what’s happening in our community to know how to respond to events and problems.”
Ladon Minor: “Yes. We as African Americans enjoy attending special events also.”
Jerry Johnson: “Yes. There is a need for more positive coverage of our community so we will not be seen as a negative people. (Also) more spiritual events and news coverage that promotes the community in a good way.”
