A view of the Championship rings and trophy before the 2012-13 NBA season
The NBA 2012 regular season began Tuesday night with exciting openers.
Beginning the night, the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Washington Wizards at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland.
In a shocking upset, the Los Angeles Lakers fell to the Dallas Mavericks at the Staples Center; the score: Dallas 99, Lakers 91.
The defending champions Miami Heat defeated Boston Celtics at the American Airlines Arena in Miami. Making for a special night, the Heat also received their championship rings.
The Milwaukee Bucks will take on the Cleveland Cavaliers during their season home opener Saturday, Nov. 3 at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.
