|
A young and obviously avid reader sits on the lap of a Milwaukee Bucks’ player as he read to other children at the John C. Cudahy YMCA recently as part of its “Sam’s Hope Snuggle-Up and Read event. The Buck players and their mascot, Bango participated in the read-in, which encouraged kids in kindergarten through fifth grade and their families to bring their favorite stuffed animals and blanket and enjoy reading together and being read to. The event was organized by the YMCA of Metropolitan Milwaukee and Sam’s Hope Literacy Foundation, Inc., in partnership with the Bucks. |
