Pulse of the Community

Zella Ferguson: "To inspire or encourage people not to commit crimes a person would have to learn the gospel and believe that Christ is the answer to any problem that one may have because sin is the cause."

Rosalind Baker (Jeter): "The church can teach you the Ten Commandments, but the parents have the responsibility of getting them to church. If you never go (to church) you will never know how to live a God-like life or a life that will please God."

Marvin Canada: "First of all, respect for our fellowman must be replenished. The community--and church--must find a way to teach our youth to fear the Lord and the beauty of his mercy and grace. If we start with the younger, smaller children we may be able to save a generation.

Robert Bell: "There is nothing the church can do. It is the family?"
