A celebration of family stability

Eighteen couples celebrated 30-plus years of wedded bliss at Mt Zion Missionary Baptist Church, where Rev. Louis E. Sibley III is pastor. The special program honored couples who have been married for three or more decades.
The honored couples were:
Calvin and Jeannette Allen (31 years); Oscar and Janice Bond (31 years); Albert and Lenora Brown (39 years); Phillip and Katherine Clark (43 years); Earnest and Luevenia Daniels (45 years); James and Martha Daniels (41 years); Jimmy and Gloria Garrett (31 years); Ivy and Lillie Givens (48 years); Willie and Pauline Griffin (42 years); Lavon and Helen Gladney (46 years); Earl and Josietana Hill (41 years); Jesse R. and Jannie Hines (49 years); *Conroy and Nancy Hobson (39 years); *W.C. and Della Holloway (40 years); Frank and Hazel Jackson (47 years); Joe and Ruby Mallett (42 years); Gayle and Eula Payne (42 years); James and Leola Rush (36 years); Willie and Thelma Wade (33 years); *W.
