Actor and Comedian John Witherspoon will be performing at Jokerz comedy club Friday December 14- Sunday 16th with multiple shows. Jokerz is located at 11400 W. Silver Spring Rd. He will perform two shows nightly at 8 p.m. and 10:15 p.m on Friday, Dec. 14 and Saturday, Dec. 15. There will be an 8 p.m. show on Sunday, December 16. Ticket prices begin at $20.
Best known for his roles in “Friday” film series, for over 50 years, Witherspoon has starred in
dozens of films including Boomerang, Bulworth, A Thousand Words with some of today biggest actors like Eddie Murphy, Adam Sandler and Warren Beatty.
Acting in shows like “Barnaby Jones” in the 1970’s, Witherspoon continues to lend his talent to a number of TV shows such as “The Boondocks” and “Kim Possible” and acting in videos for Jay Z and Sugar Ray.
