Anti-violence summit at Silver Spring Neighborhood Center Jan. 28
January 26, 2012 // 0 CommentsA summit focusing on stopping youth violence will be held Saturday, Jan. 28 at the Silver Spring Neighborhood Center, 5640 N. 64th Street, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m.
Called the “Bridging The Gap Youth Summit,” the event is being hosted by Peace for Change Alliance and Urban Grass Roots.
The summit’s aim is to have public officials and youth leaders outline how they will reduce crime in 2012. They will also discuss the most recent attacks on city buses.
