Antioch MBC to hold Family and Friends Day Celebrations Aug. 17-19
July 26, 2012 // Comments OffAntioch Missionary Baptist Church, 2033 W. Congress St., will hold its first annual “Family and Friends” Day Celebrations Aug. 17 through Aug. 19. Rev. Steven Harris is pastor.
On Friday, Aug. 17, from 5:30 to 9 p.m., there will be a “Parade of Talent and Dinner” presented by the Antioch Youth Department. Donation is $20 for adults and $5 for children.
A bazaar will be held on Saturday, Aug. 18, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. There will be vendors selling clothing, food, jewelry and other items. There will also be live gospel music and a free health screening from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. inside the church’s lower auditorium. There will be free games for the children.
Vendor spaces are available at $40 per booth, which includes two chairs and a table. Contact the church office for rental at 445-3303.
Sunday, Aug. 19, will be “Worship Day.” Sunday school will start at 9 a.m., followed by the 10:45 Morning Worship. After worship there will be a pot-luck dinner in the lower level of Beauchamp Fellowship Hall.
