Local church presents stage play

New Restoration Christian Church and Edward Cook, Jr. will present the stage production “Are You Ready?” on Saturday, April 3 and Easter Sunday, April 4 at 6 p.m. the church, 11248 W. Mill Road.

The event is free, open to the public and doors open at 5 p.m. nightly.

A stage play that looks at living life according to God’s Word, “Are You Ready” is something you don’t want to miss.

In the play, six high school friends reconnect, via a popular social networking website, after 10 years.

Eager to unwind from the trials and tribulations on everyday life, the group plans a weekend getaway to reunite.

The fun-filled weekend takes a dramatic turn when the group encounters a life changing event that forces them to evaluate their lives and determine whether they have lived according to God’s Word. But is it too late?
