Brotherhood of Firefighters presents encore of ‘Hidden Colors 2′
February 19, 2013 // 0 CommentsThe Brotherhood of Firefighters will present an encore showing of Hidden Colors 2 Wednesday, Feb. 20, 6:30 p.m. at the brotherhood’s headquarters, located at 7717 W. Good Hope Rd. The film will start at 6:30 p.m. sharp. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
Hidden Colors 2 is the follow up to the critically acclaimed 2011 documentary about the untold history of people of African and aboriginal descent. This installment of Hidden Colors goes into such topics as:
• The global African Presence
• The truth about the prison industrial complex
• How thriving Black economic communities were undermined in America
• The hidden truth about Native Americans and much more.
On Saturday, Feb. 23, Brotha Oshi will have a Black History Month Presentation, “Our Historical Journey to Greatness,” an African centered perspective. The presentation will start promptly at 11 a.m. Doors open at 10 a.m.
