The free Job and Resource Fair will be held Saturday, July 9 from 11 am to 3 pm at Parklawn Assembly of God Church located at 3725 N. Sherman Boulevard. Employers scheduled to be at the fair include Manpower Group, City of Milwaukee Police Department, New Horizon Center, Independence First, Heartland Foods Corporation and Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare. In addition to job opportunities, residents will also be able to access at the Job and Resource Fair a large number of organizations and groups offering valuable resources. Areas represented include Healthcare, Financial Education, Housing, Education, Public Safety and Drivers License Recovery. Special activities for children are also planned for the day.
