Diva’s in Training Fundraiser and Tradeshow

These young ladies, ranging in age six to 18, recently took part in the “Diva’s in Training” fundraiser sponsored by Born2Dream. The event was held at King Hall, 3413 N. MLK Drive. The Diva’s in Training program teaches young girls from our community how to become “Diva’s”–but in a positive way–by engaging them in activities that build their self-esteem, how to carry themselves as young ladies and learn to build character so they can teach others that beauty is within and not what other people think. The event was also a tradeshow that offered the girls the experience of owning and running their own businesses. (Photo by Yvonne Kemp)
