Gallery Night and Day on King Drive
July 23, 2012 // Comments OffThe Martin Luther King Economic Development Corporation is hosting Gallery Night on Friday, July 27, 2012 from 5:30 to 9:00pm and July 28, 2012 -11am to 3pm, at the King Drive Commons Gallery and Studio, located at 2775 N. Dr. Martin Luther King Drive.
Gallery Night and Day on King Drive will feature and celebrate African American artwork by artist Darron Reed, titled “On My Own” a collection of paintings inspired by his interests in jazz and lifestyle experiences of African Americans.
Entertainment will include live music by Larry Moore Jazz Trio, a preview of a play titled, “Ceremonies in Dark Old Men”, presented by Hansberry Sands Theater Company. Culinary delights provided by B.R. catering.
This event is free and open to the public. All donations are greatly appreciated. Our past Gallery Night events have brought hundreds of people together to view dynamic and emerging artists with particular emphasis on African American Artwork.
