GED class Orientation scheduled
December 1, 2011 // 0 CommentsResidents can enroll in day or evening classes at SDC to earn diploma; classes begin in January Milwaukee area residents seeking to earn their high school diploma will be offered the chance to enroll in GED classes.
The Education and Training Program of the Social Development Commission (SDC) will provide orientation for day and evening sessions of its GED/HSED classes.
Persons interested in signing up for the day class sessions should attend orientation on January 10 at 9:30am while those wishing to take part in the night class sessions should come to the January 11 orientation that starts at 5 pm. Both sessions will be held at SDC facilities at 4041 N. Richards Street.
The orientation meetings take about three hours and persons wishing to sign up for the classes need to be there for the entire session.
Admission to the two orientation sessions will be done a first come- first served basis. There are a limited number of spaces in the GED classes which are scheduled to begin January 23rd.
