Honoring the Unsung Heroes

Bishop Sedgwick Daniels and the Wisconsin First Jurisdiction honored the Unsung Heroes of the community with a special gala held Saturday at the Hilton Hotel downtown. Twenty-four Unsung Heroes were honored for their civic and religious work in the community and beyond. Among the honorees were Evangelist Shirley Barnes-Jones (pictured above at left) and Evangelist Margaret Adams (pictured above in the center). Also pictured with the two honorees is Minister Lenora Jones who also attended the affair.

The Unsung Heroes Gala was held in conjunction with Wisconsin First Jurisdiction’s 92nd Holy Convocation. The theme of the convocation: “Pursuing Our Divine Calling Through Prayerful Strategies and Pentecostal Revelation.”
