To all the reading challenge students: I want you to know I have not forgotten about you. I have been a bit under the weather. In the next two weeks, we will begin our project of literacy for all children.
We have many folks who have stepped forward to assist us such as Dr. Todd Goodman, who has donated books to give away monthly, as well as MPS School Board President Michael Bonds who will also donate books. We have a few librarians and educators who are volunteering to help guide us and give us helpful hints. Also giving a helping hand is Kia Green, the MCJ’s managing editor.
We have a great team and we will be launching this project in the next few weeks. So get ready and lets read.
