Jesse Jackson honors Sen. Lena Taylor, Sheila Cochran

Jesse Jackson and the Rainbow Push Coalition and Citizenship Education Fund honored Sen. Lena Taylor and Sheila Cochran of the Milwaukee Area labor Council AFL-CIO Tuesday at the labor breakfast during the annual conference held in Chicago. The two women were honored for their diligence and dedication in enacting real change for working families and advocating for workers rights and human rights.

The 40th Annual Rainbow Push Coalition and Citizen Education Fund conference was held June 18 – 22 in Chicago. Participants were encouraged to get informed, get inspired and get involved to create “A More Perfect Union: Closing The Gap.”
