Kaleidoscope wants to know...

What do you remember most about your childhood?

Destine Johnson: "I remember my mom trying to raise six kids by herself; always trying to keep everyone together. (She) showed everyone the value of life and gift of love."

Shiela Thompson: "When I was young, I remember that Mom would hold us and let us know everything would be okay, no matter what. Long story short, she ate the gravy so that we could eat the meat."

Michael T. Person: "I remember how my mother and father took good care of me, my brother and sister. My father was always there for us. My mother and father are still together after 50 years."

Charon Ricks: "The thing that I remember most is the way that my grandmother would have my cousin and me every summer working in her flower and vegetable garden, which instilled good work ethics in the seven of us."
