Kaleidoscope wants to know...

What can Milwaukee’s community leaders do to improve the condition of the city, that they aren’t doing now?

"Neighborhood": "Help create more jobs in the inner city. Take away some of the parking tickets, especially night parking. Find some ways to stop the school closings."

Benjamin O. Watson: "Be more communtiy involved and oriented, as well as spiritually in tuned with the traditions of our ancestors who migrated form the South andoriginally from Africa."

Ketrina Vann: "They can listen to the community. As a community leader, that ‘s what needs to be done. How else can you improve the community? By listening to the community, so they know what is happening. Leaders: Don’t think you know or ignore. Go to the source, the communtiy."

Kevina Vann: "I think our community leaders need to focus on our youth. I know that sounds cliche, but they are our future. Without providing them with excellent education and positive outlets, how can we expect them to be successful. Bottom line, as community leaders are failing our young people.
