Lenten Reading List
February 24, 2012 // 0 Comments
As we approach the season in which we celebrate the death and resurrection of Christ, we prepare by observing Lent.
Lent is the 40-day period leading up to Easter Sunday. Lent is a time that many Christians chose to sacrifice something that they enjoy as a way of honoring the sacrifice made by Christ on the cross.
In 2012, Lent begins on Monday, February 27, 2012. Let us use this time to read foundational texts that strengthen our faith and remind us tremendous and sacrificial gift of salvation.
Email me and share your stories of your lenten reading experiences. I am certain that as you cut out this reading list and commit to celebrating the Bible and not “the bunny” during this season, you will experience the power and presence of God in a special way.
