(Milwaukee) The Milwaukee Blast return after a week off with a home game versus the Porter County Punishers on Sunday at 1:15pm at the Recreational Complex on the campus of Wisconsin Lutheran College.
The Blast are 2-1 in the early stages of the inaugural season and are currently ranked #13 in the nation in the current American Basketball Association Power Rankings, the highest for a team in the Great Lakes Division.
The Blast started their season with a split on the road against Great Lakes Division powerhouse, the Chicago Steam. The following week they defeated the Chicago Fury in their first home game by 74 points.
This week the Porter County Punishers travel from northwest Indiana to take on the Blast in the Punishers first game of the year. The Blast look to counter the Punishers with their high scoring center play of Dejaunte Wade who put up 31 points against the Fury along with the long range shooting ability of the entire team that went 50% from beyond the arc in their first home win.
Tickets are only $10, visit blastbasketball.com for more details. There is no Packer game on Sunday so come down to Wisconsin Lutheran College and watch some professional basketball while the NBA is on a break.
