Milwaukee’s annual Veterans Day memorial program will start at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 11 on MacArthur Square, south of the Safety Building, 821 W. State St.
Milwaukee Police Post 415 and Milwaukee Fire Fighters Post 426 of the American Legion will play host to the ceremony.
Wayne Jensen, commander of Wisconsin’s American Legion, will speak. The program, which will include a rifle salute and the playing of Taps, has been held in Milwaukee since 1939.
