The Black Eyed Peas have announced that the follow up to their current album “The E.N.D.” will be titled “The Beginning.” The release date has been set for Nov. 9.
“We collaborated with some of the same people [as before],” stated will.i.am. “We also have a new collaboration with DJ Ammo. He has four songs on the record and I produced three. David Guetta did two. It’s only 12 songs.”
Word has it that the first single is a track called “Bang Bang Get It.”
“The E.N.D,” meanwhile, spawned the hit “Boom Boom Pow” and record-breaking single “I Gotta Feeling,” which holds the title as the most legally downloaded song ever, having been purchased by six million people worldwide.
Avant’s ‘Letter’ album coming in December
Despite the calendar, the almanac and Mother Nature, this December will be a hot one. That’s ’cause Avant plans to release his sixth studio album, “The Letter,” on Dec. 7 via Verve Forecast. He changed the name of the album from “Wake Up” as it was previously publicized with the release of the first single “Kiss Goodbye.”
“A letter is what you write to people to tell them what’s going on in your life,” says Avant. “This album is a letter from me to my fans of what’s going on in my life, what’s going through my head and my struggles as a man.”
Avant will perform “Kiss Goodbye” on Sept. 28 on The Mo’Nique Show with the single also impacting radio on the same day. “Kiss Goodbye” is available for download at iTunes now.
