Prematurity Awareness Month Event at St. Mark AME

Nicole Anderson, a mother of a premature baby, shares her story of experiencing the premature birth of her son, during an event held Saturday, November 17 at St. Mark AME in honor of World Prematurity Day.  The Lovell Johnson Quality of Life Center, which is affiliated with St. Mark AME Church, partnered with the March of Dimes, United Way of Greater Milwaukee, the City of Milwaukee Health Department, Black Child Development Institute and other community partners to inform and educate the community about preterm births.
