Question of the Week: "What can be done to keep gangs out of our schools?"
Photos and question by Harry Kemp

Timara Minefee-Tribble: "Parents are the key in ensuring that their children stay out of trouble and away from gangs. This is the primary way to keep the gangs out of schools."

Bessie Mae Fuery: "Youth centers starting at the age of seven, and the parents need to volunteer."

Arthur J. Moses: "The first thing I know for sure to do is to place God back into schools. For years, we’ve allowed our schools to allow God’s word to be removed from our schools. Now with there being no true law or boundaries, there is now lawlessness and it’s in our homes."

Darnell Robinson: "Basically, I feel that if you want to keep gangs out of our schools you gotta give the kids better alternatives and give them things positive to do. That will keep them way from that stuff. They need positive role models."
