Question of the Week: "What can mothers do to increase the likelihood of healthy children?"
Photos and question by Harry Kemp

Stacey Hayes: "Mothers need to stop feeding their children so much junk food and fast food. Also, the doctors could get someone to make home visits to ensure these children are being seen by doctors."

Martha Hayes (and Dalon): Mothers should see their doctors on a regular basis. They should also monitor their children’s TV time to ensure that they have time for physical activity."

Earl Hill: "Mothers should make sure the children have prenatal care and they should continue to practice visiting the doctor and make sure the children eat healthy throughout their childhood years."

Shaheed Akbar: "Mothers need to keep their children away from fast food places. These places are helping our children become diabetics, obese and have hypertension. It is imperative that we stop this genocide."
