Question of the Week: "Now that the Democrats are the majority party in the House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate, how will this effect calls to bring our troops home from Iraq?"

Robert Wilson: It's like a husband and wife team. Once one makes a decision, the other one usually stands by it. So I don't think the Democratic Party will bring them home."

Lisa Bondy: "I'm an Army veteran and I believe now that the Democrats are the majority, they will be more attentive to the concerns of the people. I believe the American people want our troops to come home and not continue losing their lives for a bogus cause."

Robert L. Mays, Sr.: I'm hoping they will bring the boys home. I  also hope that they will impeach (President) Bush for his negligence."

Mammie Gladney: "I don't think they will bring the troops home now. Hopefully they will after Bush's term is up."
