Question of the Week: "A plan is about to be implemented in which Milwaukee police will patrol the halls of Milwaukee Public Schools. Is this a good idea?"

Angela Fields: "Yes. Unfortunately, this has become a ‘necessary idea.’ It is necessary to provide some sense of safety for children interested in receiving their education. Maybe having police officers in the school will deter some of the violence against students and teachers."

Patricia Bridges: "Yes. However, what’s going on at home? How are we raising our children? The heart is in need of a check-up and a change. Why are our kids so angry? Something is going on at home!"

Jeffrey Williams: "Yes. Because it will make the school safer and maybe make the students act better."

Orlando Williams: "Yes. Because it stops locker break-ins and it gives the kids that really came to learn a chance (to do that)!"
