Carey Jenkins: "She was placed in a difficult position to lead a corrupt, racist department. I think the stress may have overwhelmed her. The next chief should reflect the make-up of the community and make it their duty to restore trust within the Black community."

Kwabena Antoine Nixon: "I think she was placed in a difficult situation. The stress of the job got to her. Now as far as the next chief goes, I think he or she should reflect the make-up of the Black community and go out of their way to restore trust in the community."

O. Griffin: "She has done an excellent job. She was the first woman chief and she found Quadrevion Henning and Purvis Parker. The next chief still needs to clean-up those officers on suspension. They don’t need pay at all."

Michelle Willis: "My suggestion for the next chief? More police, more youth programs, more walking police. The chief is making some progress."
