Question of the Week: “Why is it important to use car booster seats when transporting children?”
Photos and question by Harry Kemp
Rosetta Carr: “It’s important because the safety of children is valuable to the growth of their lives. Our children are our gifts of love from heaven, and we should secure their safety by putting them in secured seat belts and car seats.”
William Kirby: “Because their tiny bodies are so small and delicate. Their bone structure is in an on-going developmental state and they are so fragile. Parent’s must remember safety first and foremost. It only takes a minor shock to harm them for life.”
Debora McKinnon: “It is critical to transport a child in a car seat because if your car is in a collision at 30 mph, your child could be seriously injured or killed, even at a slower rate of speed. It is unsafe for a child not to be restrained.”
Laron Gladney: “It’s critical to transport a child in a car seat because the kids are our future and we need to protect our future. We adults have an option to wear a seat belt, but the kids don’t. Buckle-up your children for a safe and happy trip.” |
