Photos and question by Harry Kemp
Gloria Harris: “Make affordable loans available to potential owners, educate individuals on the process of owning a home as it relates to their financial obligations in obtaining loans. This enables them to get their finances financially current.”
Reverend Charles Thornhill: “Educate people to remind them of the value of homeownership, how it increases one’s sense of value. Also, make the money available and affordable to them.”

Arnaldo Rivas: “More free workshops about homeownership, credit repair, more grants with less requirements and sharing knowledge about ownership with youth.”
Christal Powell-West: “Banks must lower its income requirement and more area businesses invest in family and high school students for growth and developmental grants, more social programs to assist people and affirmative action for low-income housing.” |
