Kenneth Lowery, Sr.: "First we must educate them on being aware of their surroundings. Recognize when they are in an unsafe environment and how to protect themselves, or remove themselves from the situation."

Brittany Cunningham: "We could make more youth programs to have children involved in, to keep them off the streets."

Quantell Johnson: "The only thing we can do to protect children from violence is to have the younger generation learn more than just picking up a gun and shooting someone. If the older generation would stop glorifying weapons and violence, things would look up."

Azeeza Ahki: "More scholarship funds and programs to help support students so that they can go to college and make something out of their lives."
