Question of the Week: "What did you enjoy most about African World Festival 2007?"

Photos by Harry Kemp

Jeannetta Simpson-Robinson: "What I enjoyed most was the love, kindness and courtesy the (AWF) president, Oshi (Oshiyemi Adelabu) and the African World Festival volunteers showed me and everyone. I also enjoyed the gospel singers and the other entertainment was great."

James Nelson: "The African World Festival for 2007 was heaven sent. It was the most enjoyable and festive weekend I ever experienced. The food was delicious and fulfilling. The music and old friends I ran into gave me a continuous smile and brought joy to my heart."

Arthur Murchison: "The entertainment line-up was fantastic and the overall coordination of the entire event was well done. I just wonder why with the number of African Americans in Milwaukee, why do we only have three days?"

Katrina Lee: "What I enjoyed most about this year’s African World Festival was the different kinds of entertainment. It was nice to see acts for all age groups. I would love to see the talent and step shows for the youth come back. It was also a very peaceful environment."
