Jerry Ann Hamilton: "We should let our children know they are loved and valued. We should pay attention to complaints and take care of them. Give structure to their lives, even when they are kicking and screaming (against it)."

Tasha Lockett: "Our kids definitely need more involvement from parents/guardians in their lives--socially and academically. We also must remember that some families are not traditional and this is where the community should get involved, i.e. churches, positive role models, etc."

Pastor James H. Willis: "I believe there are a few who are working with their children, while some are not paying their children any attention. Regardless, we need to spend more time with our children."

Pastor Lee Ross Shack: "No, because of the laws of our society." |
