Recent downtown parade starts holiday season
December 2, 2010 // 0 CommentsSignaling the start of the holiday season, Milwaukee’s 84th Annual Holiday Parade was recently held downtown. The parade was sponsored by Johnson Controls and featured area high school bands, local radio and television personalities and several wonderful balloon floats, like this one of a snowman.
In addition to being a special family event, the parade also served as a charitable event. Johnson Controls volunteers collected non-perishable food items from attendees along the route to benefit the Hunger Task Force’s Food For Families. (photo by Harry Kemp)
