Religion: Calvary Baptist Church pastor John R. Walton, Jr. receives doctorate degree

On June 6, the family and Church family of Calvary Baptist Church, located at 2959 North Teutonia Avenue, witnessed the conferring of Doctor of Ministry on their senior pastor, John R. Walton, Jr.
Rev. Walton was given this honor by the Northern Seminary.
The graduation was held at the Hammerschmidt Chapel, Elmhurst College in Elmhurst, Illinois. Rev. Dr. John R. Walton, Jr. did his Thesis on “Making and Equipping Disciples for Christ in the 21st Century: A New Model Based on Restructuring Family Ministry at Calvary Baptist Church, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.”
The church family is very proud of Pastor Walton and his commitment to achieving this degree.
