The church will hold the Marilynn McVicker Scholarship Bowl-A-Thon at the All Star Lanes, 10500 Silver Spring Drive Starting at 5 p.m., with the games beginning promptly at 5:30 p.m. There is a $45 registration fee per bowler and includes three games and shoe rental. There is a pledge goal of $100 per bowler and a raffle for bowlers who raise $100 or more in pledges.

Teams will consist of four bowlers (ages 12 and up). Each team will bowl three games and must have four bowlers ready to bowl by 6 p.m. or the team will forfeit the first game. Bowlers should contact as many people as possible for pledges, though an individual does not have to bowl to collect pledges. All proceeds will go to the Marilynn McVicker Scholarship Fund. All pledge sheets and monies must be turned in on Friday, May 30 at the bowling event. Bowlers with $100+, $200+ and/or$300+ in pledges will be entered into surprise drawings.
