Religion newswriters call for entries
Westerville, Ohio/Christian Newswire/--The Religion Newswriters Association invites journalists to enter its contests recognizing religion reporting excellence in the news media. More than $14,000 in prizes are awarded in nine contest categories.
New this year is the acceptance of online-only newspaper submissions.
Also, contests for TV and Radio religion reports return this year.
Templeton Story and Templeton Reporter of the Year Awards offer a $3,500 first prize.
Other print contests include Religion Writer of the Year (Supple); Religion Pages/Sections (Schachern); Student Reporter of the Year (Chandler); and Reporter of the Year at small and mid-sized newspapers (Cassels, circulations below 50,000/Cornell, circulations 50,001-150,000).
