The Pulpit Committee and the congregation of Greater Galilee Missionary Baptist Church of Milwaukee will host the first "Candidate Sermon Series" of individuals considered for its senior pastor position.

The Reverend Ronnie Drake will be the second of four candidates who will be giving a sermon at the church. The public is invited and highly encouraged to attend.

Rev. Drake will give his sermon during the regular morning worship service on Sunday, August 27 at 10:25 a.m. at the church, 2432 North Teutonia Avenue.

In addition to the Sunday presentation, there will be an opportunity to meet and greet Rev. Drake during a welcoming reception scheduled for him and his family on Saturday, August 26. The gathering will convene in the lower level of the church from 3-5 p.m.

The congregation hopes members of the spiritual community will attend the service and reception to assist in our efforts of bridging new leadership, new guidance and a new vision for an institution that has served the Milwaukee community for 85 years.
