Reward offered for info on assailant

A $2,000 Cash Reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person who brazenly mugged a senior citizen in broad daylight near the Inc. U-Bank on North Teutonia Avenue last Wednesday.

"A $2,000 cash reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of a man who brazenly mugged an elderly woman Wednesday evening on North Teutonia Avenue about 6:30 p.m.," Alderman Mike McGee, Jr. said.

"This individual punched the elderly female victim hard enough to knock her out," said Alderman Mike McGee, Jr. who reportedly was at the Inc. U-Bank at the time of the incident.

"A criminal who would do this to a senior citizen in broad daylight on a public street is extremely callous and dangerous and we need to get this guy locked up as soon as possible so he doesn’t do it again," the alderman said.

Generous donors have stepped forward to offer the cash reward.

Anyone with possible information on the suspect should call, Alderman McGee at 414-286-2994.
