Rust College A’cappella Choir to perform at two local churches
April 27, 2012 // 0 CommentsThe Rust College-Milwaukee Alumni Chapter is hosting the Rust College A’cappella Choir on this weekend at several community churches.
They will perform Saturday at Tabernacle Community Baptist Church, 2500 W. Medford Ave., on Saturday, April 28 at 7 p.m. On Sunday, the choir will perform at Community Baptist Church, 2249 N. Sherman Blvd., during its early worship service starting at 7 a.m. Later that same day, the Rust Choir will return to Tabernacle Church to perform at its 10 a.m. worship service.
Rust College is a historical Black, coeducational, senior, liberal arts college founded in 1866 by the Freeman’s Aid Society of the Methodist Episcopal Church, and is dedicated to serving students with a variety of academic preparations, through instruction in the humanities, social and behavioral sciences, natural sciences, business, technology and education.
