Safety 1st for the Holidays
December 30, 2010 // 0 CommentsFor the past 10 years, Whites Residential Treatment and Clinical Services, Inc. have made it a point to go above and beyond to emphasize safety and structure during the Holidays, for the client.
The insight and heartfelt sincerity is mainly behind our efforts fueled by the fact that 90% of our staff is recovering from alcohol and/or drugs.
Some of our staff has community connections and other avenues, which are extended to the client to promote family reunification, family togetherness and make the transition to becoming a productive citizen.
We believe that to provide services to our clients and their families is an honor and a blessing. As we have the opportunity to improve the quality of their lives and their families.
Even greater is the fact that we are saving lives because we make our selves available 24 hours a day.
It is our agency’s observation as to the client being very appreciative of the fact of us not “closing shop” during holidays….but being there for themselves and their families. A genuine sense of caring and respect has mutually developed. Ultimately the clients stay clean and learn that plans of safety (people and places) are imperative. Activities/events include Christmas Eve celebrations, New Years Eve and New Years day festivities, Thanksgiving Day meal and safety day the day after. We even celebrate individual birthdays as to show clean and sober fun.
We believe that no addict or alcoholic need die due to the horrors of addiction, because we are trying to make the world a better place one person at a time.

Wishing You A Safe Holiday Season!
