Statement regarding Chief of Police selection process

The search for a new Chief of Police is a responsibility the Fire and Police Commission takes very seriously. The commission is, and will continue to thoroughly examine the backgrounds and management experience of each of the remaining candidates for this position with the help of independent and impartial professionals. Our focus remains on choosing the best candidate possible for the position of Chief of Police. The citizens of the City of Milwaukee deserve no less.
