Ko-Thi Dance Company presents: The 2006 Children’s Holiday Recital

Ko-Thi will close its 37th year season with the 2006 Children’s Holiday Recital. You don’t want to miss this family opportunity for a wonderful holiday event. All classes will demonstrate the various techniques they have studied during the past fall session. The recital will conclude with a finale performance of the ever-popular children’s ensemble Ton Ko-Thi.

The performance will be held at UWM Mainstage Theatre, 2400 East Kenwood, on Saturday, December 16 at 4 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at UWM Mainstage Theatre box office starting at 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 16 only.

"The People’s Champ" Kwabena Nixon and Mi’Le’ Productions Presents: Verbal Hustlin’ Vol.1

Chicago Poets and Brewtown Poets will be featured, including 3 Brothas & A Mic, Dan Vaughn, Triple Black, Ms. Inker Spitfire, K Love, Autumn Blaze, Diana Dian, Atone Bishop and Nigel.

Verbal Hustlin’ Volume 1 kicks off at The Miramar Theater, 2844 North Oakland Avenue Saturday, December 16.

Shao-Lin Entertainment presents: Turn It Up!

The Holiday Event Banger will take place Saturday, December 16 at The Moon, 3419 West Forest Home Avenue.

Turn It Up! will feature live performances by Rusty P’s, Kid Millionz and Taste Emcees, and will be hosted by Elfy (RARE in the building).

Experience the sounds of DJ ShortRound & D-Wood on the 1’s and 2’s spinning the top hip-hop and dance hits.
