Stimulus dollars at work

Those anti-President Obama conservative naysayers who claim the presidentʼs economic stimulus initiative isnʼt working should drive down North Dr. Martin Luther King Drive.
We say this because they will be literally be riding on the presidentʼs stimulus dollars.
King Drive, like other streets inside and outside of our community have been getting a makeover thanks to the multibillion dollar stimulus package that helped put individuals to work and bring the U.S. Economy back from the brink of collapse.
The new street construction will compliment the new building construction going on along the major thoroughfare, also the beneficiary of the stimulus. (Harry Kemp photo)
