Sup. Johnson receives social workers award

Milwaukee County Supervisor Willie Johnson, Jr. hs been chosen to receive the Public Service
Award from the National Association of Social Workers, Wisconsin Chapter (NASW-WI). Johnson was chosen by the NASW-WI Executive Committee for his pursuit of social and economic justice
on behalf of the citizens and employees of Milwaukee County.
“It is an honor to receive this award from NASW-WI and I thank the Executive Committee for
selecting me,” Johnson said.
“I will continue to support our community of social workers, who do great things for our society
every single day.” The award will be presented to Johnson next month in Madison.
