Free Tax Services Seeks Help

A program that helped return millions of dollars last tax season to the community is looking for volunteers. The Milwaukee Asset Building Coalition (MABC) operates free tax preparation services that help low and moderate income families with their state and federal taxes. MABC is now seeking volunteers to serve as income tax preparers for the program in the coming tax season.

For information about becoming a volunteer and helping the community, call MABC at 414-906-2807.

Tyson Donates Food

For the last ten years, Tyson Foods and Second Harvest have worked together in the fight against hunger. On September 21 a Tyson truck filled with 36,000 pounds of chicken will be delivered to the Second Harvest warehouse. This donation will help us meet our goals to provide healthy food to needy families.
