‘TeamSmile’ is a winning team for area youth

One of 150 dental professionals asks a young child to “say ahhh”
as he examines her teeth during the “TeamSmile” event held
at Miller Park. Some 300 kids from the Boys and Girls Club of Greater
Milwaukee participated in the event held on the eve of a new school
year. “TeamSmile” provides complimentary oral health
assessments, dental services and instruction to underserved children
in the Milwaukee area. Brewers Community Founation and Brewer pitcher
LaTroy Hawkins, in partnership with TeamSmile and the Boys and Girls
Clubs of Greater Milwaukee worked together to provide area children
with treatment and instruction in a fun environment while promoting
