“The Park People are very excited for our 3rd year of the “Run for the Parks” at Humboldt Park.” said Dan Cody, Board President of the Park People. “As we celebrate the 105th anniversary of public parks in Milwaukee County, summer events like the Run for the Parks are a great way for residents to get fit and get healthy in their local parks. Over the past two years, we’ve raised nearly $10,000 for repairs in Humboldt Park and hope this year even more members of the community get involved in the run so we continue to contribute to projects that lead to improvements in neighborhood parks.”
Official sponsors of “Run for the Parks” include: The Park People of Milwaukee County; Barefoot Wine and Bubbly; Bay View Neighborhood Association; Milwaukee County Parks Department; Bay View Homes; Tenuta’s Italian Restaurant; Nowak and Lewis Chiropractic; Southern Lakes Physical Therapy and Starting Line Athletics.
